 WDF EUROPE CUP 2012 - silver for Lithuanian pair
The Netherlands Men's team triumphed 9-7 over England Men to win the 2012 Europe Cup in Antalya, Turkey, with Scotland's GARY STONE winning the Men's Singles with a 7-4 victory over Lakeside World Champion CHRISTIAN KIST (Neth). However, Kist made up for it in the Men's Pairs when he won the title with fellow Dutchman JAN DEKKER, beating Lithuanian double ARUNAS CIPLYS - DARIUS LABANAUSKAS in a final. On the way to final Lithuanians won against SLO-Pilinger/Vutek 4:1, POL-Wojciechowski/Bobrowski 4:3, SWE-Engström/Larsson 4:3, ENG-Adams/Atkins 4:3 and semifinal BEL-Huybrechts/De Vos 5:3. Great play and silver on Europe Cup 2012.
In the Women's Singles, Belgium's PATRICIA de PEUTER wion the title with a closely fought 7-6 victory over England's TRINA GULLIVER, and it was another Dutch triumph in the Women's Pairs when KARIN KRAPPEN & TAMARA SCHURR beat JULIE GORE & RHIAN EDWARDS (Wales) 6-3.
